I love Christmas cards. They are too fun to throw away.
Decorate a box or lunch pail with fun papers, ribbons, paint, etc. and archive the cards by the year. This way you'll always have them organized and handy. It's also a fun decoration to set out during the holiday season.

what a cute idea! i always feel so guilty throwing away my cards. this would also be great for birthday cards, etc. i think i might even make one for nash for his first birthday and i can save all his cards for his whole life!!!!! would that make me a pack-rat?
Jessie, this really is a great idea because some of the Christmas cards I get are hand made (like yours) and I feel guilty throwing them away. It's a great way to display them too. You're so crafty! We should all have a hodge podge night and make boxes.

I have one that I put my Christmas cards in, and one I have that I put birth announcements, birthday invitations etc. in. I don't know - Maybe I am a pack-rat! =)
